[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

yay Calli!

Windsparrow, oh I can barely make it through the Hobbit movies. How funny.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Right on, Calli!

Despite how much I enjoyed the LotR movies (and I never read the books), I have zero interest in the Hobbit movies. I'd see them if someone I was with wanted to see them, but I wouldn't be the one organizing the outing. And I'm sure I'd enjoy them, but I just have no drive to see them. Weird.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yay, Calli!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Congrats, Calli!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Yay, Calli!

Today was a bit better. I even smiled a few times. And then I ran into a bunch of kids in one of the main streets of Jerusalem, in the center of the city, screaming and chanting in their top of the lungs "death to the Arabs". A bunch of nine year olds. I can't call the police on nine year olds (and I was way too shocked to do anything - and too scared, too). And I gave in on hope for the rest of the evening.

And then I came back home, had dinner, and decided that fuck it, I can't let them win. If I can handle street harassers, I can handle them. There's gotta be a way to get through to them. Or just to make them stop.

Anyway, I'm open to suggestions.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Holy shit. That is horrible.

Our wings are not tired.

With people you know you can argue that two wrongs don't make a right, but with strangers, and crazy kids, it is not really possible.

Mob psych is beyond me. But I can't let groups like these polluting my city with their chants. I just can't. There's gotta be a way, and I've got to be more brave about confronting them.

(I'm now bitterly reminded of a joke. "Let's have the two states solution - in one, those who would like to kill Arabs for being Arabs, and Jews for being Jews. In the other, the rest of us". I'd like that very much right now, thank you).
