They should film that story and show it every Christmas.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The plumber's son (also a plumber) was here an hour longer than estimated. Which probably means the bill is going to be larger than the estimate. It probably would have gone faster if his dad had stopped calling to find out what was taking so long.

Our wings are not tired.

They should bill you the estimated amount.

Wow, 65 years is a long time. So often one follows the other pretty quickly because the stress and grief wallops the immune system.

And how are you feeling, sj?

I'm okay. I find myself alternating between fine and bursting into tears with little provocation, and I'm very tired.

No written estimate and it was more of a range. He did tell me up front that the labor costs would go up if it took longer than expected. We worked with this guy before, and I liked him in the past. However, his son was really unprofessional. So, we'll probably use someone else in the future.

If the bill ends up being more you should complain that the usual person would have finished quicker. You likely aren't the only person that has had this experience.

It's the owner's son who did the work, and honestly I don't have enough spoons. We'll see what happens.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So many hugs for everyone in here.

Oh I get it. I can't count the times I should have complained, but didn't. Hate confrontation. I hope they stick to the estimate.

I'll take hugs too! In fact wine would be nice.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

omg, I just fell into the shittiest, nastiest mood ever, which seems to brought on a headache in addition to all the raaaaaaaaage.
