Happy Teppy Day! I love both cake and tacos. Not usually together, but it could happen, I guess. It is a truth, maybe not universally acknowledged, that the family member with the most "special plans!1" gets the most out of joint if you don't go along. groan. Crazy-fancy hotels are a nice treat, but you probably want to be there for more than one night. Rushing in and out of a fancy hotel is just wasteful, imo.
