I'm so sorry, sj. {{sj and TCG}}

Argh, you guys, my poor dad. He called me earlier to tell me that my aunt, his oldest sister (80-ish years old) was having knee replacement surgery today, and her heart stopped. Her granddaughter called him while the surgical team was still working, because what my dad said is that she isn't expected to survive, not that she had already died. But it doesn't sound good. And then he had to get off the phone because he had to go to work. Right after finding out his sister was probably dead. I feel so bad for him.

So I guess he'll find out for sure after work and call me later. I guess 80-ish isn't bad for a Lang, especially one who's had heart attacks and strokes. Still, that sucks. And Dad keeps losing siblings.

And I'm constantly amazed that he just keeps on trucking after 5 heart attacks. If I inherited his heart disease, I sure hope I also inherited his ability to shrug off a heart attack.

I'm sorry, Teppy! Peace and comfort to your dad and the rest of your family.

Oh, Tep, your poor dad and his poor sister. And poor you, because you worry for his worries too.

My family. I love them but our communication skills are not good and we all avoid. My parents are divorced for a reason and they've been spending close to their limit together at the beach.

Dad just blew up at Mom because she was asking my nephew if he was okay in the bathroom (my nephew is almost 6) and if he wanted a shower or bath. Dad got upset because she wasn't repeating my nephew's privacy. Also he's fairly deaf and won't wear hearing aids so I think he missed the part about the shower.

Then mom got upset and I said that everyone needed sometime in separate rooms not seeing it hearing each other (mostly because that is what I need when I get like this).

Also mom was frustrated because dad was "making a fuss" about having stuff for dinner for my brother and his GF when they get in tonight. No me as thinking they wouldn't get in until 9 PM and eat on their way. Dad was expecting them around 6. After checking in they won't get in until 9. But Dad feels it doesn't matter there should be food here and ready for them.

Plus there is other stuff going on.

BUT we we to Wakulla Springs and played in the spring. I did mostly jumping off the platforms but not the really high one. But I thought about it. I didn't even think the water was cold.
