It sounds like a scary situation, smonster. I hope things work out well for your friend.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
{{{omnis}}} I'm sorry.
{{{smonster}}} Tons of ~ma for Kara and those that love her. I'm sorry.
I'm really hating my ass.
ominus is me. I'm prepping for a colonoscopy and upper GI scope right now. I have some of the same issues. I'm actually hoping that my issues are in there somewhere rather than in my bone marrow.
smonster, I'm so sorry for your friend! This health stuff sucks!
Thanks, everyone. I'm dealing/not dealing by watching a Project Runway season I haven't seen. I'm making myself eat (hummus and a salad, then ice cream for my throat). My voice is almost gone.
It's so much worse for her family, and I feel helpless.
quester, I've been thinking about you. I'm glad you're taking steps towards finding out what's wrong. I wish you didn't have financial stress on top of everything.
quester, how are you feeling?

Virtual hugs are inadequate. I wish there was something more to offer but all I have is thoughts of comfort and positive resolutions.
EARTHQUAKE! 5.3 in La Habra.
I was walking to the kitchen, and saw my surround speaker swaying. At first I thought it was me. Then I felt it. Gentle rolling/rocking motion, heading west to east. Not enough to topple me. But enough to feel it. By the time I got to the front door (to exit the building), it had stopped.
All safe in Signal Hill!
Don't fall into the ocean, California! We would miss you.
Ugg. Was woken at 6ish with a mind-splitting headache. Took two advils. Took about 45 min to fall back asleep. Couldn't fully lay down, as that hurt head more. Then while laying there, I could hear my neighbors alarm clock. Great, he spent the night elsewhere and didn't turn his alarm off. Again. Finally drifted off. Just woke up. Headache feels gone, but a little groggy. Told boss I would come watch his son's little league game today. Really don't feel like sitting in sunshine, ya know? Sigh.
