no, look forward to it. Right now you are on all the time, keeping his life in order, making some sacrafices for his comfort/happiness, etc. Plus you have a job where you are on all the time. It makes sense that a few days where you are not able to be the responsible party sounds good to you.
After a week of doing that with Matt and the cat - i was ready to run away. But, i've always needed my alone time. I think part of the reason I was such a night owl was because my family got up early and went to bed early. Being sleep deprived was worth it.
Yup , you won't love all of it. but a day to breathe will be good
Because SCIENCE.
Way better than "Well it seemed like a good idea at the time..."
Card for "Congrats on the shrinkage". Yup. Wanna be a fly on the wall.
Just pulled out my insulin pen, saying to myself "Take the shot." And went right into a Hawkeye/sniper state of mind. It works.
Hawkeye/sniper
Avengers. Right. Anybody else go to a M*A*S*H kind of place for a second?
I got it ...somewhere.
I actually edited it down 12 frames...looking for it....

Things I can't burble about elsewhere, more's the pity: one of my former students is finally marrying her girlfriend! They've been together since 2008 and didn't ever think they'd be able to get married, but they live in New Mexico and now they can! They seem really good for each other, and I'm super happy for her.
She's one of the strongest "that's the way I am" people I've ever known. I had her as a student in her early early teens, and it was clear then than she was gay. Some native communities are more accepting of homosexuality than others, and her family is largely conservative Christian as taught by white missionaries, so I know she's had a difficult path.
Anyway. I'm proud of her.
Yay for love winning, Liese!
