Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my clothes off.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2012: If the world doesn't end, I'm going to need a note

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. 2012--better luck next time.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Last night we played Cards Against Humanity, which requires at least 3 players, and is deeply twisted and fucking hilarious. It's described as "A party game for horrible people. Unlike most of the party games you've played before, Cards Against Humanity is as despicable and awkward as you and your friends." (Which is SO TRUE about this group of friends, I can't even tell you.)

It's a lot like Apples to Apples, if Apples to Apples had been created by Sarah Silverman and Denis Leary.

Steph, I bought that for both my BFF and sister for Christmas. I hope they like it.

It is a LOT of fun, as long as they aren't easily offended.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

You are, but apparently they're sold out? You can buy it directly.

Ha ha ha I don't think Target would ever sell it. I've never played it, but I just hear about it.

Oh, apparently everyone is sold out. So no luck there, I guess.

Yeah, they were sold out, and then I got on their mailing list and got notified when they got more in and bought two, a few weeks ago. $25 when they're in stock. But you can print your own cards, their website has instructions.

Yeah, wait until it's back in stock on their own site (should be January [I just got on their mailing list yesterday]), or download it and make the cards yourself (I am way too lazy and sloppy to do that). It will be worth the wait.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I downloaded the PDF and took it to Staples yesterday. I went up to the counter and handed them a flash drive, and said, "I want you to print this game--" and the guy said, "Oh! Cards Against Humanity? We don't need your flash drive. We print that all the time." Five minutes and five bucks later, I had a set printed on card stock! (Though the black cards on my set are on dark green card stock with black lettering.) My neighbor took it to work today and used her fancy-schmancy paper cutter to cut them.

I'm looking forward to playing it!

I didn't even think about going to Staples with it!

Hmmm...

Ooh, maybe I'll try that. Will they cut them for you?
