Electricity shocks you, "scientist". Clearly the social kind...
Sorry, where was I?
Congrats, Nilly++! Happy birthday, sumi!
Sophia, what msbelle said. You're injured. You can't do that. Something else is going to have to happen.
Why are United flights grounded? Gotta go read up. And also need to finally buy my stupid airline tickets for December. Hate outgoing money.
I'm about to crack open expedia.com--anyone prefer anything else? I used to be a diligent travelocity user (back when they had a terminal screen which made me feel like a travel agent or a airline employee...) but I've fallen away.
Congratulations, Nilly!
And happy birthday, sumi!
tommyrot, I would so get that shirt for my mother, but she's an XXL.
sarameg, it sounds like you're having a blast--go you! Don't let the sharks nibble your toes in the GBR!
I had a nice chat with my oldest brother on the walk to work, and he told me all about his new farm. He's gonna be a gentleman farmer, it looks like: bees and orchards and vegetables for the restaurant. They're even thinking about raising pigs, and I said, BACON! Can you imagine, raising your own bacon?!! So cool.

I'm a big fan of Kayak. It just seems more streamlined and less annoying than any of the others.
The resemblance to paintings thing is cool. Also, Keanu, whoa.
Nilly! Congratulations to you and your family!
Happy Birthday, sumi!
And Belated Happies, ChiKat!
I've generally used Orbitz.
Happy birthday, sumi!
Sophia, you wouldn't be asking how you'd manage if you had broken your leg or you'd had emergency surgery, right? Whatever you've done to your knee sounds exactly like the kind of thing that could get worse if you don't take care of. Someone else can step in.
Sophia, seriously, make no plans until you've been at least evaluated by a doctor. I messed up my knee in a fall, and spent weeks on crutches. My toes wiggled just fine, but sitting on the edge of the exam table with my feet dangling, I could not lift that calf. Couldn't for a long time. Still climb steps with my left and descend on my right (I could do surgery, but I've adapted). Knees are tricky, get it looked at, and treated. And may it be something relatively simple to treat.
I generally compare Kayak, Travelocity, and Expedia. But lately, more often than not I've found the best prices on the airlines' own websites.

What they said, Sophia.
I'll check Kayak and Bing and then book directly with the airline.
I can't find the same times on the airline's site, though.
