And the thing is, I like my evil like I like my men: evil. You know, straight up, black hat, tied to the train tracks, soon my electro-ray will destroy metropolis BAD.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

That's great news, Amy!

I can institute proper grammar and punctuation! I can insist on the Oxford comma! I can also develop a house style guide

You are speaking my language. STYLE GUIDE.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yay Amy! And yay, Allyson--you got done what you needed to and that is an accomplishment while wading through the molasses of depression.

I mememe news, I am going to Europe for two weeks! My brother paid for my ticket so I can accompany my mom, who isn't yet able to travel on her own. I just get myself to DC and he got our flight from there. I was planning to go see her anyway, and this way he doesn't have to worry about how she's getting over there to see them, and I get a free trip! He's the one that lives in The Netherlands in The Hague. It's a lovely town and I love his wife and her family, so it should be just what an out-of-work person needs.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Congratulations, Amy! That is a helluva 2nd day on the job.

Allyson, I'm still vibing really hard for you.

Art Crawl!!!

Amy! That is just amazing - go you!

So, I read that NBC has ordered a pilot from Anthony Zuiker (CSI) which is a drama set in Lewis Carroll's Wonderland.

(Read the article over at Spoilertv.)

ita - will this prologue do?

Because books.

The only caveat is that it's a startup. So I'm going with it as long as it lasts. It also gives me great new skills and experience for my resume. Meanwhile my power cord has crapped out so I'm my Kindle which has no comma in the keyboard. Ugh.

Europe! That's fantastic Scrappy!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sumi, that better do, because I gave it to her. I can't listen to it at work.

Hec, never having socialised with them, how was I supposed to know? IO9's scope doesn't actually cover "my lesbian lover's plastic surgery, a tale in three parts". Hell, it takes a bit of time to tell that Charlie Jane Anders is (Charlie Jane) and not Charlie (Jane Anders), and that Cyriaque is a bloke.

Scrappy, that's really great.

Our wings are not tired.

Hahaha, just when the Oxford comma is all yours, none to be found.

Awesome, Scrappy! Way to rock the unemployment.

Go Amy, impressive!

And dang Scappy, that's awesome, and perfect for a refresh yourself before doing job hunting or decision making and future planning!
