Now I want to know the MRSA colonized joke. We always get MRSA stories from the PACU nurses. One of the adult ICU nurses was MRSA colonized and didn't know. She went in for breast implants and about 2 days later had an awful infection. They had to remove the implants and she was in her own ICU for about 3 weeks while they fought the infection.

I'm sure there's a moral there, but I'm not 100% sure what it is? Get swapped before you get a boob job?

Ooooh! A coworker went to the Urgent Care because he thought he had flu and wanted to see if he could get Tamaflu. To test him for flu, they put a swab into his nasal cavity via his nostril. He said it didn't hurt, but ouch! Also, no flu. Just an awful cold.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am gonna throw this out here because it seems it might fit a need. We are gonna be gone the week of March 10 and we're gonna need a house sitter. Since DFW is a hub, airfares here can be pretty cheap. If anyone is looking for a cheap getaway with free wi-fi, and netflix and wouldn't mind pets, give me a holler.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That sounds like what I had/have, Bev. I will definitely take it over what the SO has, but it was pretty fatiguing. Still is, apparently, since I totally conked out after just a normal day's work. I meant to do so much this evening, but it just never happens on Mondays.

Bailey is awesome! The cats are pretty funny too (though maybe only Syl will give you the time of day.) And it is a great house.

So I'm scrambling an egg a day for Devi because supposedly it will be easier for her to eat than the dry, and help to put weight back on her (well, it is supposed to be half an egg, but how the hell does one do that without shennanigans?) She'll eat the egg, but what does she really prefer? Her dry food.

Because books.

That's my favorite grape.

Mine is, sadly, in grape jelly. I don't think I'm ever going to be a wine connoisseur. And guess who just had to look up "connoisseur"?

More thinking of a craft room

I've always wanted one of those. But like you said, some gorgeous inspiration on the walls wouldn't hurt ...

I hope Allyson can check in at some point. t /worrier

Wow, the internet is so awesome. I just got a donation from someone in Hungary who speaks English as a second language. I have no idea how she found out about us or why she's interested. Love it.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Does the work in your mouth add up to five figures?

Not yet. Fingers crossed it won't hit it, but I am still agog at the cost of an implant. Plus because my sinuses suck, when I get the implant I have to have something called a "sinus tap," which lifts the floor of my sinus cavity, which is important because it's an upper implant, and they really don't want the implant screw to go into my sinuses. Nor do I. Anyway, that adds close to a grand onto my total. Gah.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Anyone sell their used books via Amazon? I normally use half.com.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Dana, I have done. Why?
