Ugh, Suzi, that's hard. Hang in there.

Shit, man, I really want to go home. We've had the go/no go meeting, said go, tasks are starting, and there's no way I can focus on any other projects until Monday mid day at soonest. I'd love to max and relax inasmuch as it's clearly impossible (didn't fall asleep until nearly 1 last night, possibly also because I had to fall over in the afternoon because of headache).
But if my manager's not here to ask, it seems shifty. Where did she go?
That's nerve-wracking, Suzi. Good luck.
My eyes were dilated at my appointment at 10AM. And they're still not back in focus. I can't see for shit. ARGH.
I have to go pick up the kids, so OF COURSE the rain starts up NOW.
Rain (re-)started this morning as I walked from covered parking to buy breakfast and then to our building.
And then it rained again while I was walking to buy lunch. There was a guy sitting in the outside seating, though, having lunch and playing music on a little stereo. Weird.
Home! Jiggety jig. Also, jig.
Awww crap. I only sent my mea culpa to 2 of the 4 people who were pushing me for numbers earlier today. Blast. Now I have a more detailed message out to all of them. And I'm done for the day. If things explode from here...it is what it is.
meara - you reminded me I need an eye appt. And probably to get dialated. Blech. I hope your eyes get back to normal soon.
Sad about Kuma. It's hard with the old pets.
I'm sorry about Kuma, Kat.
Kat, my condolences.
A shot of Jameson and some SPN later and I'm feeling no pain (freaking light wait). Still haven't had anyone respond to my fuck up.
I just decided to stop at Trader Joe's and Petco after work. Bad idea. The road they're on is one of the major commercial roads here, and also the main way to get to a bunch of residential places, so I figured it would be plowed and salted and everything, especially since there's only been about two inches of snow. Turns out, not so much. I think that was the scariest driving experience of my life. I was skidding all over the place, and the anti-lock brakes kicked in several times.
