Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't have to do much to simplify my job description. I count things.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I sit around, make shit up, and very occasionally get paid for it. Also, google celebrities' wives to see how hot they are(Mrs. Olyphant is *fine*, if you are wondering. Since they were art-school sweethearts, I thought maybe she'd sit near me, on the quirky-cute end of the spectrum, but alas. She is all that and several jars of moonshine.) and sing along with you-tube videos. Your tax dollars at work.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Occasionally is not on the list, but otherwise, you're OK there, top-1000-words-wise.

hip deep in pie

Argh, I finally made a phone call that I have been avoiding for days and got voicemail. Let me get my onerous task over with!

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Teppy move words.

Ha, this is me, too. Also I read books. That's about it.

So, folks (paging Hec!), I need a new haircut. I've been growing it out for a while, but I just don't love the way it looks, and the longer it gets, the more time it takes to make it look OK. So now I'm thinking short, or even short-short!

For reference, this is what it looked like on my wedding day; I loved that cut, but I want something shorter now. This is not much shorter, but a little closer to what I'm aiming for. I think even shorter would be better. (That second picture is Julia Stiles in The Bourne Ultimatum, and if anyone can find me a better picture of her hair in that movie, I'd be very grateful!) I think I'd also like to get away from parting my hair, if possible. I've done that for years and would like something a little freer and looser. I don't really know how to do my hair without parting it, though, so... suggestions welcome!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I help college students write better.

Hmm. Thanks, Tom, but that's a different cut.

Oh, yeah, I think she cut and dyed her hair when she was on the lam in that film.

Probably! I don't recall if sexytimes ensued, as they did after Bourne gave Franka Potente a new 'do in the first movie, but it's probably fair to assume they did.
