I, for one, wasn't looking forward to starting my day with a slaughter. Which, really, just goes to show how much I've grown

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have heard rumors that admins will be held hostage in this department and "not be allowed" to move to other departments when there are positions, but I am not sure that the source that info is reliable. A test of that will come soon enough and if it is in fact the case, then I will start looking outside the company hard and fast. No way am I loosing all ability to have a say in my work situation within a company.

Ginger, does that give you a good place for salary or vaction negotiations? Are you in a position to leverage?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

with baby Cheetahs,

Nutty could totally take those Cheetahs.

(Also, Holly is still an Eskimo and Dana looks like Elijah Wood, and Knut is difficult.)

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Dana looks EXACTLY like Elijah Wood!

I love the baby lellaphant!

When I took this job, I was advised to work at half capacity, and you know, I still am pretty good at my job.

Baby Aye-ayes, which for some reason I think might appeal to Jilli

I think the high expectations might be why I am dreading this review cycle so much. I know I am not as on top of it as I was before the Tamoxifen, and I'm not sure how that is going to play out in the evaluations. I'm still good at my job, but I'm not sure there won't be a comment or two on forgetfulness or something related.

I think the fact that you are aware of the forgetfulness that comes from Tamoxifen should count in your favor. My old assistant refused to acknowledge that she wasn't able to function at her prior level of performance. Her performance levels sunk by a very large degree and it was challenging but we were willing to make things work. Her denial made it frustrating for everyone.

Oh, I definitely am, and I try to work around it as much as I can. My computer almost always has at least one post-it note reminder stuck to it.

Shetland Ponies in Fair-Isle Sweaters

I saw those last night, and Tim's comment was "Who has to put the sweaters on them? I bet THAT'S fun."

I don't care, because they are unbearably cute.
