I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

The status is NOT quo.

I'm so sorry for the cold people! I am a total wuss at this point and get cold when it's 50. I remember negative temps but can't fathom experiencing them again. Brrrrr.

I broke out my long underwear to wear under my skirt. And the spanish botas (by far the warmest shoes I have.)

I actually think this is the coldest run we've had here this winter (18F right now.) And it looks like snow friday.

Of course. I have a sick cat and a hair appt Saturday.

Compassionately intolerant

I can't believe the temp here is actually going down.

Unfortunately the dog has a different perspective. Stupid dog.

My guy didn't quite catch on immediately to the frigid temp. Once he DID though, he dragged me home so fast, I had to work to keep my balance.

Thank goodness.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Slept uneasily last night. Don't remember details but my dreams involved shoplifting cheese, risky surgery, corrupt cops, being thrown into public political debate without warning and unprepared, a dog who had been a pampered house pet turning relentless tracker to avenge its murdered master, and feral clowns.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I actually changed out of the wool sweater I was going to wear today when I saw the forecast for the rest of the week. It's 23 right now, so I am saving my warm clothes!

I should be able to go home today.

You really should.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It's only 19 here, but I'm still wearing tights under my pants, and a sweatshirt under my coat.

Punishingly Intricate

I really need to get draft blockers for the windows at work. It is sooo drafty here. Also I have on tights and wool pants but the sock shoe combo I have on is inadequate. And I got rid of my space heater like a good citizen. My tootsies are frozed!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

It is going to be nice here this afternoon (sorry), so I went without tights this morning, but it really is not warm enough yet to be bare-legged. I have my wool wrap on inside the office.

Bad news from one of our plants, cannot discuss here or at work, as no announcements yet. I don't like being on the inside sometimes. The rest of my day will just be mini-breaks between setting up meeting after meetings.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

It's about 15 here. I'm wearing long underwear (the bamboo fabric kind), and I've been putting up the hood of my jacket whenever I go outside. (I know I own a winter hat. I just don't know where it is.)

tommyrot - Jan 22, 2013 5:44:07 am PST #8522 of 30001
Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My boss is going to bring in a space heater for me. Yay!
