One if the things I always stress about is the kids spilling finger nail polish bwell, today it finally happened while Ellie was giving Frisco a pedicure. Sammy got the bottle and in 3 seconds it was everywhere. Amazingly, it was all hard surfaces or skin, with the exception of Sammy's pants (no big deal) and a darling pair of Robeez (baby shoes). The funny part was that I love these shoes and had already lost one and had ordered a replacement pair. So, the shoe is ruined but I already have a replacement handy. Nice to have it work like that.

Devi~ma~Sarameg. I am super impressed that you have been managing to steam a cat. In any way. Impressive, but also sad.
In slightly more uplifting news Eartha Kitt giving James Dean dancing lessons
Today's one of those crisp, cold days that I love, so I spent about 2.5 hours rambling around in it. I hit the farmers market for handmade fettuccini and small, intense bulbs of garlic, walked up to the hippie co-op for pretty rainbow chard and other goodies, and spent half an hour with the cat on his leash as he stalked various small beasties. I'm a bit bummed that the snow we got Thursday night didn't last, but this was nice, too.
I once spilled nail polish on a cat.
I have my fingers crossed for Devi. I,too am impressed at steaming a cat.
That whole series of Eartha pictures is spectacular. But yeah, giving James Dean dancing lessons, oh my.
I cleaned and dusted and vacuumed and stuff today! Go me!

Woo, Tom! I showered, ran the dishwasher, and made the bed. I thought about doing more, but it didn't happen.
aurelia, I love the first comment -
When my mum walked in my room i quickly changed it to porn because it was easier to explain
I picked family up from the airport, hit Beverly Hills hard (now I've definitely been on Rodeo Drive, and have my first pair of Jimmy Choo's to prove it) and sent them back on their way to the East Coast.
Oh, god, I'm so fucking friend. I've recently been accepting that "too dead to watch TV' is a real state, and I should admit it instead of trying to prove something to absolutely no one, but...it's just two o'clock.
It was worth it, even if I'm side-eyeing the purple shoes a great deal.
(The Choo makes flats--I got flats--cuz got 5 pairs of 4-5 inch heels, crowing about sale savings, but that is not me. Gift to myself, one and out,)
