who seems to think if he lowers expectations enough and does enough "bad" things ... I don't know. I can't follow his logic.
Once he becomes the person he thinks everyone expects him to be, then the suspense is over and he won't have to worry about waiting to disappoint them, it'll all be done.
Gah! Zulilly is finally have a sale of something (I think) I need, and now I can't work out if it's better than Bed Bath and Beyond, because I can't touch! And Zulilly doesn't have returns, and BBAB has 20% off...okay, maybe I talked myself into the returnable option.
But I have learnt that spice jars (or at least the replacement you can buy) seem to come in 3oz sizes--so that might be handy if you can find them in plastic to pour off some body rub, or facial cleanser, or whatever for you carry on luggage.
Happy not yet belated in my timezone birthday msbelle!
I am a bad person because I find that line funny by now.
Oh, me too. Partly because that was not the most traumatic part of the movie to me. The image of
Sloth
kept me awake the night I saw that movie.
Hi! So I woke up in the middle of the night completely panicked about the furnace and...it's working! It's 0 out, but I was able to make it kick on and heat came out. Yay heat. So I stoked the fire for good measure and came back to bed, but the dog is confused and thinks it's morning and of course I'm wide awake from adrenaline.
Much health~ma to your mother, DCJ.
Heart~ma for your Ma, dcj
Getting off work, getting a ride back to my car, have to be back at the office for two to work in Palo Alto this afternoon. But after I'm done with that I have 5 days off, so that'll be nice.
I am a bad person because I find that line funny by now.
Wait, there are people who don't find that line funny?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's objectively funny now.
NOT funny: A friend of mine just called me to tell me a friend of her husband's died suddenly last night. Man. You just never know.
No, you do not.
I always thought "what's in the box" was funny, but I am not entirely right in the head.
Argh. So, I get home just now and today is my produce and egg delivery day so I expected to find my box full o food on the porch. Well, it was there, but tipped over, vegetables strewn about, the egg carton destroyed and just some bits of shell here and there. Looks like raccoon prints in the frost/dew, I would guess. I don't have the energy to go through the produce and see what else is missing right now, I need to sleep!
