Spike: Lots of fuss over one girl. Other things to do around here--important things. Angel: You know that whoosh thing you do when you're suddenly not there anymore? I love that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Something for Good Stuff Happened Today?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, those are adorable.

Augh. I hate Mondays. Also, hate waking up with a headache. Hopin it will go away soon.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So this is the new normal.

Do. Not. Like.

I explicitly prefer living on the East Coast to the West because we have seasons. Seasons which include winter. With snow.

Oh, just in case it wasn't clear, the "new normal" means more variation in the jet stream and the weather. Not just "cold on the West coast, warm on the East coast."

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

New normal?! Aughhh! I'll need a new wardrobe for starters.

But the fairy tale baby is adorable.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Last week in Chez Suzi included a broken washer, a flooded apartment, bed bug discovery, a cold, and cramps from hell.

This week is anticipated to include final cleaning push for pre-pest control preparation, pest control on Tuesday, putting the house back in order, and getting our lease renewal notice on the 19th.

They have been remodeling all the apartments in our complex as people move out, but in 2013 all the remaining apartments WILL be remodeled. Not quite sure what our options are - move to another unit or store our stuff and move out during the remodel...and what the remodeled monthly rent will be, so there is the third option of finding a new place and moving out.

I need to figure out what we are doing on the "where we are living front" before I work out the "what do we do for a new washer/dryer".

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Way too cold in LA. Did not sign up for this crap.

Forgot I had a 7AM meeting until 7:20. In the shower.

It was a phone meeting, with India, and it went better than it had a right to be ("What does your row 23 say?" "I don't have a row 23--it goes from 22 to 24." "Then unhide/unfilter row 23--what does it say now?" "Oh, it says the info you were asking about.")

Now I'm at work, stuck in a jacket because a loo visit told me how sheer this white shirt is. Fuck you, white shirts I can afford. Fuck you.

really nervous which must be kinda weird for someone who's talked in front of a lot of people her whole life

The difference between your words and someone else's is huge, as is the difference between prepared words and improvised ones.
