The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

According to my car, it was 29 degrees most of the way in.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Frickin' cold in San Francisco. Frickin'!

As I was getting dressed, I thought that I should wear wool socks, and then I didn't, and oh MAN I wished I had. My feet were frozen by the time I got to work. Misery!

I stopped for a mocha on the way in, and was so disappointed that the hip new chocolate/coffee place downtown wasn't even open yet. What coffee place isn't open at 10 to 8? Pfeh.

Our wings are not tired.

Burrr! Keep warm peeps, or come visit me. I like option two best.

I haven't watched the Golden Globes yet, although I did skim through the pregame show to check out the dresses. I read the transcript of Jodie Foster's speech and it read well enough. I'll understand more when I get to that part of the recording. Plan to catch some of it over lunch. Then I'll skim over the watch 'n post.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

It's in the 50s here, and the snow is melting.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, and the jet stream wackiness is probably due to all the arctic sea ice that has melted. So this is the new normal.
