Today has been productive on the bed bug front. CJ and I spent a few hours at the laundromat and now we have traded off with K-Bug and her bf. That will conclude the washing/drying everything on hot. I know we will have more to do come Tuesday (which is when pest control comes), but the vast majority is done. All rooms have been deep cleaned, furniture is pulled away from the walls.
I didn't get the chance to eat anything other than a Twix bar until about 2pm. I have SUCH a headache. I have applied Ibuprophen and want a nap, but I have no bedding (that is what is currently at the laundromat) and my windows are open trying to disapate the smell of the cleansers.
I got up and had some breakfast and then went to watch the game at a bar with an ex. It was entertaining to be in a bar where everyone CARED SO MUCH. I kept giggling when they would scream and cry. Not at the end, though, that part sucked. But when they were like, happy crying, it was just so funny.
I have emailed my boss twice asking for clarification on what he wants me to do on these opts. and he has not responded to either one. I have asked very specific questions. so annoying.
also? I hate the Patriots.
So I love this:
someone who I have not spoken to since around 1994 (maybe earlier, but let's go with this) sent me an email essentially saying: "is this you?" - full message.
I had to google her name and find her resume to recall where I knew her from. We worked together and I knew her well enough, but someone you haven't spoken to in 15 years or more, you need a more complete introductory email message than that.
Looking at job listings, I saw a potential job for husband. In a town in Georgia north of Atlanta. Where gun ownership is mandatory.
MANDATORY? Are you freaking serious.
Are we W&P the Golden Globes?
ah, carpet is on. now taping. will watch after football or if this game gets out of hand.
GG Awards starts at 8 ET, pre-show at 7, E! Online is doing their red carpet gabfest now.
Coffee grounds can be good mulch for roses, if that helps.
My apartment is finally de-holiday-zed. It got up to ~75 today, and I still have most of my windows open. I wouldn't mind a bit more winter in my winter, though.
