So, Darby was like a Maxwell's Demon of dog food. Impressive!

Darby managed somehow to sort them out in her mouth. Chomp chomp chomp...tilt head to side...disfavored chow pours out on to floor...chomp chomp chomp. Unreal.
Kaylee does this too! It's kind of incredible.
Drive by to say that I am sure that I have had a garlic bagel from St. Viateur or Fairmont.
One time I tried to taste whatever we were pilling the cat with. It was unforgiveably bitter. I then understood how easy it was to distinguish between med and food.
Is this a bad time to mention how Biscuit loves pills and will beg for them when you open the container? And it's worthless to wrap it in anything because it will fall out and he'll scurry to pick up the pill...not the cheese...from the ground? I don't know. Dog's not right.
So hi, middle of the night. The fire needed banked so I dreamt the SO did it, only he was in the family room from my childhood, so I worked out that probably wouldn't help me, seeing as how it was in northern Ohio and I was in Arizona. Funny how vivid that house is to my subconscious still. Anyway, I stoked the fire and went out to get more wood and it was 6! So needless to say I am now wide awake. I ate berries and sourdough toast, but I suspect this is the kind of awake that doesn't abate and fucks with my sleep schedule the rest of the week.
And I'm still fevery. Whine.
Dilaudid is a weird ass drug. I can't type for shit on it (formless rambling that I cannot interpret immediately or with time). I can converse reasonably well (though you can tell I'm on something) although I'm overly chatty. The amount of effort going into this (hopelessly brief) missive would be funny if I could watch someone else worry and tweak until their noggin explodes.
Kicking my ass indeed.
What that means, though, is that the first two doses were given correctly.
No word on #3 yet, though, Keep tuned in right here for more update as the situation develops
I hope they do get it right, ita. I dunno how you manage shift change.
Our house, this AM, was 58 degrees. The heat just leaks out of this thing.
I'm going to Starbucks, then LAX, then Anaheim then home today.
sarameg - I feed Penny Natural Balance Green Pea and Salmon grain free food. They also make duck, and chicken but I started with Dean when I had him and he couldn't eat grain or birds.
I briefly switched Penny off of it on to another food and she started getting gas again (she was a gassy, stinky kitten when I got her) so it was back to the Natural Balance.
Holy crap you guys, I slept almost 11 hours last night. I did not think I was that tired!
Woo for two proper doses! Fingers crossed for the third.
I've been working shifts that start at 5 or 6 in the morning, but this week I'm switching to evenings and afternoons - tonight I start at 7 PM. I am not sure how to make that transition, but I think it starts with not doing a whole lot this morning. I tried to stay up late last night and sleep in this morning, but once the sun was up so was I. Probably a lot of coffee in my future...
