I'm just trying to tell you that we have nothing in common besides both of us liking your penis.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

It's been in the 30s at night here, and the lack of insulation and heating means our house is about 40 degrees when I wake up. That's already way too cold for me.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Any Chicagoista lose a live chicken?

I've seen a woman with a chicken near the post office on Devon.

Thrive to spite them

It's 40F here. everything is melting and it's muddy out. Tomorrow's high should be 44 or so and then on Tuesday it will drop down into the high 20s.

Art Crawl!!!

When I took the train west from downtown I saw a backyard with at least 4 or 5 goats within the city limits.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I've seen a woman with a chicken near the post office on Devon.

Well, it was found at Greenleaf and Ravenswood, so I suppose it could be the same chicken.

The train car I'm on has a bunch of Montana tourism advertising. One ad touts "15 undiscovered ski areas".

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It is supposed to drop 20 degrees by tomorrow.

Yup, that's this same system. It's just walking across the states.

Yay for progress!

Anyway, if I'm going to leave house, I guess I'd better get off the couch and put some makeup on and get things together for all the errands.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Emmett's at a baseball camp here in San Jose. So cold!

brillig

It's supposed to hit the negatives at night here for the next couple of days. The sun is currently peeking out, which will hopefully help clear the roads.

The Navajo Relief Fund is "a proud member of GuideStar" and the Direct Marketing Association. GuideStar's website assured me they only work with the best charities. I can either assume they are deeply invested in double-speaking money out of the unwary or that they are really on the up and up. I suppose $30 isn't too much for good karma and potential good works.
