I got my flu shot and updated my Tdap vaccine. Vermont official has an epidemic of whooping cough. That wears off after a while so don't forget to get your other vaccines updated if you get the chance.
There's around 500 cases of whooping cough as of December, but it's 10 times the number of cases from last year which is why an epidemic was declared.
I got my flu shot last November. However, I also hear the match between the shot and this year's version of flu isn't quite as good as it could be.
That's right, it was a whooping cough shot I got.
Husband just got an update on his TDAP too. There is definitely a pertussis outbreak in WA.
I forgot to get a flu shot and now I am worried that it is Too Late!
There was a news story last night on the flu so today there's been a run on shots. Am in line-I think there'll be shots left for me.
I got my flu shot a while back (thank you asthma). But today my head is slowly progressing to feeling like a bowling ball. I have too much to do to be sick, flu/cold/otherwise.
KCDW has been fantastic today. Right now she is at the laundromat with a bunch of stuff from CJ's room. K-Bug is going to join her in a bit (she is babysitting at the moment).
I'm just slamming tea and working.
I'm at a pharmacy so insurance won't pay. So I paid $36 rather than go to a clinic.

Ugh, in other vermin news, DH destroyed a rat's nest in the backyard yesterday. Rat skedaddled, but today he's back and refusing to cede his territory. I can hear him testing out various walls and such outside, looking for an entrance. I am completely creeped out by it and hope that DH is braver than I because it looks like one of us is going to have to kill it.
