Buffy? I like that. That girl's so hot, she's buffy.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Ooh, how cool, brenda!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

ugh Suzi, I'm so sorry. And thanks msbelle for the advice, which I'm going to follow too, just in case we have them. My plan for today was to put extra bedding into big ziplock bags, I remembered that! And tree is almost denuded, but I need to pick up the kids soon, and then DH has minor surgery today so not sure what we'll get done after that.

Oh Suzi & Burrell. I'm sorry.

Aaand the Lokes just puked (he'd been eating grass.) How do I know, since I neither saw or heard it? The way he was backing away from a spot on the carpet. He gets really freaked out by his barf.

Devi's breathing seems a little better. Being at home all day wasn't terribly reassuring, listening to her labored wheezing. But I was able to assault her nose and get everything visible cleared out and no new blood has appeared. Yet.

I got the ok to crush the meds and mix them with water to give by syringe. Still not fun, but less drama.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am so sorry, Suzi. I would be tempted to just run away. But msbelle probably wouldn't let me!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Buffista Bed Bug Banishers Mobilise! (I ran out of Bs....)

It sucks that there's previous experience, but then again, might as well use pre-loaded misery, and especially from someone capable (can you imagine trying to follow my example? Bed bugs couldn't have happened to a lovelier person than msbelle....please don't tiny punch me...)

Just got off the phone with someone who professionally hates me, but I think she personally finds me amusing. Which, you know--professionally I have some issues with her too. My company is a customer of her company, and she is embedded--she has a desk, a computer, network credentials, a phone extension--everything. When I ask "Hey, can you guys make a change during our standard maintenance window?" the answer is usually "Do we have to?" with a side of "No one else asks us to delay production changes until off hours..."

I'm pretty sure you're being paid not to take our network down...stop pushing back when I ask you if you can COPY FILES FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER (same VLAN, even same NAS, potentially even same server, for what it's worth)--don't fight me on it. Work out how to keep us happy, and act like you've bristling with expertise.

Developer A apologised for potentially making me mad by talking down to me with the wrong answer. Developer B...I think she's still smarting from someone laughing when I replied to her with "Are you asking me, or are you telling me?" when she came to me for information there was no reasonable way for me to have, and that she'd earlier said she'd ask the business for.

To be fair, I told her I don't want her to visit the business unescorted--they get kinda handsy, and would totally slip her a roofie in order to get the changes they want--her first meeting with them was solo, because of exigency, and they steamrollered her. But she can email them and ask them questions, as long as I'm cc-ed so I can pull them back on point.

I wonder what it would be like to work with (or for) people you're scared of.

Shit, Burrell, I somehow missed that you have bug problems too. I guess I figured, can't be two b.org families at once, no way.

Yes way.

Bad way. Bad, bad way. Way gets no cookies, in fact.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Oh, Suzi, I am so sorry about the bb. That sucks.

And Burrell, too.

Nature can be an evil bitch.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I will regular pinch you since I AM PERFECTLY NORMAL SIZED!

Sophia - you cannot run away from bed bugs. they are annoying, but running rarely helps. I would recommend runnign if in a multi-unit rental situation if the landlord and other residents all refused to take action.
