Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Bob Dorough singing Three is a Magic number was a cry point!!

Of course it is!

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Today I ate chia seeds. It was odd, but not unpleasant.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Putting this on (you can't see the Mary Janes or the polka dot ankle socks, but the steel toes are an important part of the ensemble) was about the only way I could talk myself into coming in to the office.

The stupid nurse (I dunno) is coming to visit tomorrow at 7:30AM, so why am I at the office instead of home tidying like a fiend? But I bet she knows exactly what "is a slob, shoved everything under the bed" looks like.

I'm really sure she knows what "barely making it through" looks like! And I bet it's not that neat.

Timothy Olyphant is on last Friday's Ellen, and he is awesome, but looks skinny.

Did I mention I'm fighting off an ear infection and my new FSA or HSA or whatever the fuck it is is apparently a huge clusterfuck of a headache to deal with? And I still need to do all my reimb from last year?

I cannot deal and I have to.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

ita !, that's a great outfit. And I really want to see the socks.

Dear Hivemind, have any of you ever used Retin-A? My visit to a dermatologist has resulted in a prescription. I know the basics (use at night, wait 30 minutes after washing my face to apply it SPARINGLY, wait another 30 minutes to apply anything else), but any other advice would be great.

After talking about using it, the dermatologist said, "I usually stress to new patients that they need to be extra-diligent about applying sunblock when using Retin-A, but I see you're a gothy type, so I figure you've got that covered." Heh.

Punishingly Intricate

I CANNOT PILL THIS GODDAMNED CAT!

A song I know too well! if you add /dog. Frank the dog was The Worst! I've been saying a little prayer every time I give CB her pain pills in peanut butter "please always take pills this way, please always take pills this way."

Speaking of pills, CB was totally being one this evening. And, of course I'm here by myself and trying to cook and she is just so bored from only being able to go on minimal solo walks. She's finally collapsed at the end of the couch but, dag, she exhausted me! Her new trick is making a vertical leap onto the dining room table. I think they must have inserted springs in her legs when they took out her reproductive bizness.

Oh my.

Dr. Prestia said she recommends getting kittens familiar with/hooked on treat food so that they're easier to bamboozlepill and aren't too picky. I was all @@. I mean, it does make sense. But I cut Devi off the people food because she'd steal it halfway to my mouth and that just wasn't on. (Especially barfed back up on the bed.) And then she had GI sensitivity issues and had to have a limited diet and at 16, it's almost impossible to get her to eat anything OTHER than her special food. That ship has sailed.

I can't believe I'm pining for clavamox. I wore that shit for 2 weeks.

All I remember from using it (as a young'n) Jilli, is that I had bit of the dry, red, flakeys at first, but things normalized quickly.

Now tagless for your comfort.

This is no surprise at all but Gud's children are as sweet and polite online as their father.
