Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And it just occured to me that I do have a full dinner for three here, so offered to bring it over there later, so that all works out. And gives me a chance to shower and whatnot.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

How is it that I'm still on my morning tasks and it's past noon? Argh.

I call a do-over on 2013.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

So the day is looking up, Jesse? That's good.

It's fine, at least. Now I just need to do some things around the house, and all will be well.

Keys still lost. I went looking in the field and no sign of them. They're either buried or a dogwalker found them. I'm hoping the latter and that they turn them in to the Y, but oh well.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee, I had the same thing happen after my root canal. It happens. What AB did they give you instead? And do you have pain meds?

I was actually kind of geekily pleased to have have something to add to the allergies to medicine part of my med records. They gave me amoxicillian instead, and I can already tell that is working much better. I have some vicodin left over from my last surgery, and I was hitting it pretty hard for a few days there, but I think I may be over that phase already.

Speaking of geeky stuff, I set up the fitbit I bought myself for Christmas this morning. It's fun, so far. I think I am going to take it for a walk around the neighborhood soon.

eta: Jesse, I hope the day turns around, and that you have a good dinner.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Happy New Year everyone!

Apparently a nice brief coma was what I needed to start the new year off right. I turned in about 11 pm last night and got up at 11:30 this morning.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jesse, also voting for an increase in the good.

I'm watching a Graham Norton episode and yet more music I have no idea of, but have cheerily made their dent in the music industry anyway--Girls Aloud. What does a five woman group have to do to not look like they're standing around, especially when they're dressed in nightclub gear, meaning very high heels and two in skirts tight enough that their choreography is stilted?

The Spice Girls are the first women I think of, and they had the advantage of really different styles for all the members, and even Posh Spice wasn't as hamstrung as Girls Aloud. Who I could not tell apart on a dare without hearing their accents (and that only helps with two of them).

Thanks, you guys. Blah blah blah some people have real problems, but thanks.
