Go, Laura, go!
Okay, I rarely see a Tumblr page that makes me want to steal the layout, but it does figure that when I do see the [link] that there is no [steal me] in the top right options. Dammit. If you scroll the page and keep your eye on the top left, you'll see what I like.
you'll see what I like
That is completely cool. I want that. Or maybe I just want to keep scrolling for hours.
I'm leaving work at 11:40 so I can be home for the plumber. I'm not coming back (today). And I've done nearly nothing this morning.
And now I've even left this comment open for twenty minutes. Oy.
Timelies all!
I snuck out of work a bit early. Official word said we could leave 2 hours early, but a) my boss left at 10:30, b) I finished all my work by 11:30 and c) despite what the e-mail said, the nearby cafeteria was closed today(and I didn't bring a lunch). So at noon I decided to leave.
That's a really cool tumblr layout.

Nifty!
I'm still at the office. Still no sign of postal worker. Pout.
The Nook tablet order is the result of a B&N gift card I got for Christmas. So I have not started any new books in the last few days because I wanted to give the new device a try. This might be why I am pouty.
I really want to have gone to Trader Joe's, but I'm not that excited about going! It's cold out and a long walk. But I do have a warm coat, and for christ's sake, I can tell that I feel better when I at least move my body a little, which I have not been doing lately. OK. Up and at em.
In case of interest, I finally put my Great House pictures into one set: [link] and also updated my Jamaican food set: [link] with pictures over the past year or two.
There is officially no one here to send me home.
My co-office mates (but who work for a different dept.) are also not being sent home, so there's comfort in misery.
However Megan has sent her staff home and my coworker's DH was sent home at 3. (We all work for gov't.)
