Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

We are freed at 2pm. My boss isn't even in the office. She's been taking the last of her vacation days, like me and half the department. This always happens - I get to year's end with over a week vacation, I take it because I don't want to lose it, and then I end up working every single day anyway. It's frustrating.

Our wings are not tired.

I have a seriously bad attitude at work today so I went home for an early lunch. Feel free to skip the rest of the rant. First, my #1 support person has been worthless since her daughter's due date was on the 21st and she hasn't delivered yet. She was off Friday, and is off again today, but when she has been here the last couple weeks she is either running out to take her daughter to appointments, or on the phone with her. Next, my tracking shows my Nook tablet was attempted delivery to the office on Saturday and I would have to reschedule deliver or pick up at PO, so I went to PO and of course it was out for deliver today because our building never gets mail on Saturday. Also, we have had a bunch of annoying support calls mostly that have nothing to do with my actual product. I have refused to talk to any of the customers and made my receptionist take messages because I would be rude to them. I did fix their problems.

I thought it would improve my mood to complain, but it didn't. Maybe I should include a drink with my early lunch. Grrrr.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Call it a day, Laura!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

As your sister in rantypants, I concur with Jesse.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I pretty much think everyone should call it a day. Lord knows I have!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I called it a day yesterday! It was a sick day, but still.

I've decided that 2013 is the year of Lucky 13. Which, in my head, kind of means it's opposite year. Like the episode of Seinfeld where George did the opposite of his natural impulses and things went well for him.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I had a migraine last night which is mostly better today, but I still don't want to be here. The graphic designer is prissy about having to work from home on his vacation and I don't blame him.
