Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I hit my goal for my nike fuelband yesterday. anyone here have one? I need friends.

I like the idea of the FuelBand, but if I got something like that I'd want something that measures heart rate. I don't think the FuelBand would register if I'm on an exercise bike.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

msbelle, I am TamaraS on Nike+, friend me and see how pathetic my goals are!

Thanks for the validation, y'all!

I like the FuelBand because I can just have it on all the time and not think about it. I could never get used to HRMs enough to leave them on while I was gardening or whatnot, and too often let "I don't feel like putting on the heart monitor band" turn into skipping the exercise I intended to do, since I couldn't document it properly and I do love me some self-quantifying documentation.

What does wearing a HRM entail?

There's a watch that's recently become available (or else it soon will) that has an accurate HRM built in--it doesn't need any other sensors.

All the ones I've used had a chest band sensor, like a stretchy belt around the ribcage. I don't understand how anything else can be accurate, but perhaps they are.

Speaking of, I haven't worked out in a week. Somebody tell me to work out tonight, because I don't feel like it.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Work out, tommyrot! It's worth it!

(I still need to get my strength workout in too, so if you do yours, I'll do mine!)

Ok. I'll walk the one block to the gym.

Wait, that doesn't sound so bad.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Bah. I thought my reward for driving through ALL THE SNOW in Connecticut this afternoon would be some snow for the kids to play in tomorrow, but it's all turned to rain here.
