Uncertain connectivity here, so Merry Xmas and/or happy secular Tuesday to you all!

Theo made me giggle today.

Feels like déjà vu. Pretty sure someone every year at the holidays does that...

Ugh. $266 if I want to change my flight to fly home tonight. But if they cancel for weather tomorrow, well, sucks to be me and they won't give me jack.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Merry Christmas, Buffistas!

I went running with my sister & nieces & dogs, and while we didn't get too wet (it's rainy here), I'm freezing. Now huddled in my bathrobe while the house warms up. Then back up the hill to help get the turkey in the oven, and do gifts.

I already got my best gift, I think: a nice bottle of Glenfiddich from my sister. Last year she gave me Glenlivet, and I only finished the bottle over Thanksgiving.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh meara, that bites.

We had an excellent Christmas dinner (duck for me and Emmett, cioppino for the women folk), and slept over at EM's house. Christmas morning was very sweet with many handmade gifts and thoughtful ones.

Emmett's comment (in a tone of wonderment) upon receiving his cool new GG Bridge sneakers, "I said I liked them and you got them for me!")

not your mom's socks.

Happy Holidays for those as celebrate!

What's fun: friends and family. Happy kid.

What's not: the relative who made jokes about kids still believing in Santa in front of HPF. Relatives also wanted to be here for present opening, so we agreed to fend her off until 9am from everything but Santa presents. They showed up at 11am, expecting breakfast.

I am zen. Really.
