I think pretty daggone young.
The tea I brewed in Miami was still hot when I handed it to my father at the front door of our house. Yoinks.
Wow. That's amazing.
Vanity. So I got gussied up for a Christmas Eve eve party today.
Mischievous comes at a wee age, it's intentional emotional manipulation that doesn't come until later.
Today was fine, but more stressful than it needed to be. Oy! And I exercised this morning and now I need a long soak in a hot bath. My muscles ache.
Today was interesting. Not bad, just complicated. Of course, around my dad. And my mom's emotional state. Yep, made her cry and it was due to her completely misreading my action. Once explained, she was ok but that took an hour to get around to.
I was informed that I was "so much like your father" in a way I'm still not sure a compliment or curse.
But whatever. Largely a good day. Most of the presents wrapped.

Yay? Sort of?
Me, I'd love a drink but I have to stay awake so I can pick up my niece at the airport--and her flight was changed so now she's getting in at 1AM. I'm such a good aunt. (::sigh::)
One pie down. I should make another one but I think I'll do it in the morning instead. Before I go to the store and buy all the groceries for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day...
You're a better aunt than I. And I used to throw down on such things. Now I think I am going home Christmas evening even if the Nephlet doesn't make it home from a long road trip for his Dad's before then. It's just too emotionally fraught and he's still apparently unaware that his choices hurt him most of all. The wee girl niecephew that likes to count, is getting good at reading and can be swayed into anything by sparkles? She's my current level. Probably because I think math is neat, love to read and am easily swayed by glitter too.
Ack, ease~ma, Cash.
Nice look, Liese!
I love sending cards, but only at this time of year.
I love sending cards as all other times. I hate it this time of year. It's like my Grinch is just too powerful.
As long as I can keep my sil's new stash of Aussie Chardonnay ( from us) safe from the A men, and something handy to open and sip instead of opening to talk...
Time and a place. Buffalo Wild Wings and D's 10th bday it ain't.
You gussy up good, Liese.
Cash, all speed and efficiency getting rid of that stone and back to your holidays!
Mah poor nekkid tree. Today was a bad pain and cope day, so it will stay un-trimmed till tomorrow. Ham and pumpkin pie fixin's have been obtained.
So pretty, Liese!
You know how comic-book women often don't have spines? Neither do the side-dudes on the cover of the book I'm re-reading: [link]
I would say I have seen a mischevious gleam in the eye of a 6 month old playing peek-a-boo or that game where they intentionally drop the sippy cup off the high chair tray and look around innocently saying "uh-oh!"
