My dear friends down the street had a family tradition of fondue on xmas eve and crab on xmas day. I enjoy the fondue part, it goes well with almost any kind of fun cocktail, or wine. I'm giving her a bottle of local craft-brewed Aquavit for the holiday and might have to bring it early for fondue-accompanying cocktails. Mmmm. My southern family did honey-baked ham and the northern family did venison. Killed by an uncle, of course. Poached along with the xmas tree, if I properly understand the hunting laws in the area.

I somehow ended up being responsible for making a full-on turkey dinner at ND's mom's house on Christmas. I offered once and now it's expected. Ah well.

That had been the original plan. But with Saturday as my last visit, there's nothing significant to break, and I don't want to rock the boat and go "just because".

Cass, Lee did not give you room to breathe. Final tally was Marley, Momoa, Kitsch, Beach, Hemsworth, Padalecki, and Kane.

Now--short-haired women. I'm gonna start with La Liz, and I'm not sure about Eve Salvail because I did her for tats, so Alek Wek, Eaddy Mays, Natalie Portman, Dench's hair is a bit longer than I was thinking, same with Hathaway, I guess I got room for a bunch...

My favorite (and was a keepsake because it used to belong to my Dad) pillow just exploded in the dryer. And it randomly made the vacuum less than helpful. Finally got the vacuum to work and put most of the feathers into a trash bag. That was not what I expected when I was getting ready for bed. Poor pillow.

Still, me and sleep are OTP.
