I had an awesome evening--girl got back from the trip to Europe and we hung out for a couple hours, and then I went to a friend's annual latke party, whic ph was delicious and huge, but then after a lot of people left, was just me and a couple good friends and a couple people I got to meet who we're awesome, and it was very happy making.

I'm so terribly glad you got treatment, and I wish there was a procedure by which the attending who tossed you and said you couldn't come back could be put in a tiny little room and put through an amount of pain and other symptoms equivalent to yours for...an indefinite time. Bedside manner be damned, this person needs an empathy injection and a 'tude-ectomy.

Is there a way we can make SURE it does, like bringing up a snit-induced refusal to treat a patient with verified, longstanding history of intense pain with the AMA or whatever group oversees doctors' behavior at the hospital?
