Seabiscuit has never chewed stuff. The one time he carried my shoes to the middle of the living room, but that was it.

she has only chewed two non-dog chew things in the house. these slippers and a pair of strappy black heels. she mainly had chewed the flat part at the heel on both the heels and these slippers. I think I found some bootie slippers that will work.
The sheepskin is probably comfy, but I'm allergic.
Mr Peabody mainly removed insoles and chewed them to pieces, but he's largely over that. He does occasionally move shoes around to screw with me.
Mine are also those. Had 'em for years, still comfy and warm.
Walter was never a chewer. Not destructively anyway, he's very soft-mouthed. Even his toys he gently squeezes between his jaws so they don't even squeak.
Dita is a chewer, but luckily not shoes.
Sorry about the lousy drive, Lee. I suggest strong drink.
Given the cause, it's hard to be too upset, especially now that I am home, and have wine.

I have got to give massive kudos to the kid's school.
I have no idea how the teachers and staff held it together today, but they did, they sent out their reminder of security measures (and increases in case of copycats), they put together an email with advice (including, "Please keep your children away from the news today."), and the kids had their Friday Pyjama Day and were none the wiser. No fear, no sorrow. Just another day for them.
And I'm so thankful for that.
