Brenda, as a parent myself, even thinking that the gun laws and gun culture in the States are completely awful, I found that Slate article's tone massively counterproductive and offensive. It read like certain Facebook posts some friends who can't stand the president make seven times a day and will take any excuse to slam him. I've seen a hell of a lot of posts about the need to actually talk about gun violence and gun control that don't resort to ad hominem attacks.

I am going to a wake for my friend's mom this evening. I just reenacted the scene in the Body where Willow tries to find the right clothing. I think half my closet is on my bed after being tried on and discarded. I decided on dark jeans, green shirt, black cardigan and purple velvet jacket. Neither too sombre nor too bright.
Oh FFS. My cat just peed directly on me. That was Not Cool! And I really don't feel like doing the laundry right now, so everything I was wearing is rinsing in the tub. Also I'm afraid this isn't done for the evening.
I guess it's better that it was my inside clothes and not the sofa?
