It looks like 27 dead, 18 children, all under ten.
One shooter in custody, and I think the other is dead.
One person reported one hundred rounds going off. An entire classroom was missing, so I think that's where the casualties were concentrated. Sounds like he slaughtered an entire classroom and ran out of the school into the woods behind the school. Several of the adults who were killed were teachers and staff running towards the gunfire trying to stop the shooters.
CNN: "One shooter is 24 years old wearing a bullet proof vest and holding 4 weapons."
So it was premeditated.

Saw one other thing saying that the Principal had been pushing for stricter safety polices - wonder if that set off some right-to-arm dude?
The school does have a buzz-in set-up, but since one of the shooters was a parent that's how he got in.
