Mal: Gotta say, doctor, your talent for alienatin' folk is near miraculous. Simon: Yes, I'm very proud.

Our wings are not tired.

One of my normal Sirius radio stations is 49 Soul Town and they have shifted to Christmas music. It's been rather entertaining so far. Better than the other seasonal music stations I sampled by far.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I haven't heard the dogs barking Jingle Bells yet. I'm a little disappointed.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have not heard Little Drummer boy yet.

I agree with the poopy week theory though. Assuming I make it to Friday, I am pretty sure that my major accomplishment for the week is still going to be not screaming "OMG WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU" at a co-worker today.

Now tagless for your comfort.

The kids and I decorated Christmas cut out cookies tonight with Olivia singing "Christmas time, Christmas time, I love Christmas time!" Followed by random made up lyrics about how nice Santa is and how we love him.

Today at work was so stupid, I couldn't even post about it without getting all rage-y. But I had a massage that wasn't horribly awkward and mentally uncomfortable (on my part; I just have a thing about strangers touching me) and seems to have helped my hip/back soreness, so it all balanced out.

I scooped the developers on solving a tester's problem. I did a ridiculous little dance in the developers' office because I'm always fighting to drag details out of them when they troubleshoot ops and they'll just be like "but we fixed it!" while I'm sitting there saying "you fix it, my job is to tell you how it's broken so you can fix it! You can't be the only experts."

This is a long-standing tug we have, and I guess I'm lucky that I can get away with doing a ridiculous victory dance in their office and yet am still taken seriously. Though I think they are gonna tell on me at the status meeting Friday. I will not reprise the dance, though.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I have not heard Little Drummer Boy yet either.

I am definitely not in the holiday spirit this year, due to family crap. We'd always thought my parents accepted my sister's gf and their having kids through my donating sperm, but it turns out not so much. Turns out my mom had been complaining about the gf to a family friend, which recently got back to my sis and her gf.

My sis and her gf have been hosting the family x-mas gathering at their place, but now they don't want my parents there (which I totally understand). My older brother can't host this year either, and my younger bro and my apartments are too small. So no family gathering this year.

I have not talked to my parents since finding this out. They also want to know why I donated sperm. To which my reaction was, now?

In more positive news, I've already lost weight since I started working out 10 days ago.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have heard Drummer Boy twice so far, but I like it more than most songs that will play over the radio, so I'm a-okay with that turn of events.

Note to the lady at the random waxing place: I get that you think I'm Jojo the dogfaced boy, but NO you cannot wax my lip. Jeez. Stop pushing it.

One day I'm going to get my brows really fucked up, because I can't remember the last time I went to anywhere twice. But so far, although none of them are as perfect as the $30 job, they are "tidy". So, whatevs.

Okay, gotta go pick SPN episodes.

tommy, I'm sorry. I vote you go spend it with your sister and SIL and just have a moment of solidarity in WTFF?!! It's the family you not only got, you get to LIKE them.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I am in fear of finding a new brow place. I don't have superthick brows so I can't risk too much. Still, I liked them waxed so much better than my attempts to pluck. So eventually, I am going to try a new place.

Hey, is *anyone* still winning the Little Drummer Boy game at this point? If so, I envy the hell out of you.

I am. I don't do retail if there is any option from Thanksgiving through the second week of January and I loathe Christmas music so I don't play it. Yep, Grinch.

I have not talked to my parents since finding this out. They also want to know why I donated sperm. To which my reaction was, now?

Seriously, NOW? Because closing that barn door is long past. Ugh, I totally understand them not wanting to host though. What an awful thing to hear about from your family.
