Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I get life insurance through work which at least means if I get hit by a bus my brother and sister won't be saddled with an underwater mortgage, but more than that would be overkill with no (two-legged) dependents.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My insurance is for my mother too. I wonder if fathers feel put out.

I called HR/whoever to find out who nominated me for recognition awards, and it turns out that it was the developer that I bitch about all the time and my boss, both for the last big project I managed.

I'm exhaling a breath I didn't even know I was holding. Given that my boss was furious that we'd missed a date of June (that was made not by me, and not with any analysis) and the developer and I were at each other's throats (I had to ask other people to ask her to do stuff, because she stopped taking my suggestions), this is quite the double surprise. Huh.

But there are suit sets which are dresses that come with a matching jacket, as well.

According to my last recruiter, those might not be seen as the equivalent to a suit, although I think they're more formal in a way, since there are no unmatchy bits. The one they saw me in had a long jacket, down to mid thigh, but it was clearly the same fabric and patterns and those were quite demure, IMO. It was vintage 70s, but not bellbottoms for crying out loud. THIS IS LOS ANGELES! GIVE US FREE!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

business casual

I would wear pants, a nice sweater, and dressy boots (ie not Uggs or combat looking boots).

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

My insurance goes to my sister, to cover the cost of cremation and her travel expenses when she deals with my stuff. Plus any expenses involved in said stuff dealing.

My sister gets my stuff. It's up to her to clear a profit. Since she's already told me I own nothing she envies. Yeah, cause I'm taking my rack with me when I go.

Also, :P

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am cleaning off my desk like a person who cleans off desks. WooHoo!

I also discovered today that if I started putting in for mileage reimbursement for all the work errands I have to do during the day, it will end up being $20 - $30 a month. Money I have been losing since March. Oh well, now I know.

Seriously? I go out for an extended lunch and msbelle says one thing? I was hoping to blow the next ten minutes catching up here.

Denied.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Karate today kicked my butt. I'm SO exhausted and am on a conference call that doesn't need input from me yet. Blerg. let me do my bit and be done.

And thanks for the dealing~ma the other day. Things aren't resolved yet but there is a plan in place. Which makes the dealing much easier.

Buffistas are powerful folks.
