I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oooh, time travel leeches. That's different.

I don't see anything on the label that indicates they should be alive. Hmm.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Happy birthday, Consuela!

I'm listening to Handel's Let the Bright Seraphim and it is helping to fight off the empty office, rainy day, late afternoon gloom. Hurray for trumpets!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Consuela!!

Ooh, I haven't listened to that in a long time, but should. I don't listen to enough music in general anymore.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Happy birthday, Consuela!

Cashmere, I was going to say it was you, but when I try and pull Ca____ names out of my memory, I don't trust myself. Now I'm thinking of some Baggus to take home with me...hmmm...

Just got off the phone with our vendor consultants and we managed to get on the topic of data mining your browsing habits, etc, and they totally ratcheted my generally laissez faire attitude up a couple points. I HATE when people take advantage of me like that.

Not supposed to be noon yet! I'm not at noon accomplishments! Lost an hour because my laptop video (and the attached monitor) kept dying, and between that and the support work (always be really chummy with tech support--the ones who do the fixing, I mean).

Speaking of chummy with--any recommendations for what I should pick up at TJ's for the nurses this year?

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Happy birthday, Suela!

>OTOH, the big name drummer who I visited in Nashville? His wife works at TJ's (for the insurance, she actually has a library science degree and hopes to get into the Nashville system, anybody have connections? Forgot to ask Kate about it when we were visiting.) and gave me pumpkin spice chai and candy cane green tea out of her stash. Whoot!

Liese, I know a bunch of local librarians, but they're almost all school or children's librarians. If that would be of any help to her, please feel free to pass my name along!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Happy Birthday, Consuela!

Every time I say Kenneth Brannaugh's name around here, Owen reminds me that he is SIR Kenneth Brannaugh.

Always Anti-fascist!

Probably Branagh does too. Maybe Emma Thompson couldn't stand it anymore...
