Now tagless for your comfort.

I think I'm crazy. I'm inquiring about a full time marketing & communications position for a local non-profit here in town. I know the executive director loves me but I'm not sure if I'm totally qualified for the position.

I just sent her an email.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Cash, you're not crazy. Truly. You never know until you try. What they consider qualified might be different than what you consider qualified.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Maria is totally right. Job hunting is crazy (she says with an ironic laugh).

I'm concerned. This may not turn out well, considering the current makeup of the Court.

Lawyer roommate linked me to scotus blog, which says basically they left themselves the opportunity to not really rule--they could let California stand where the appeals court had it (yay), but rule that people don't have the standing? Or something. So, left themselves an out. But still hopeful yet scared.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I called my folks when I went out to get lunch. Good news: no ranting about "the institutionalization". Bad news: my mother thinks she's going to divorce my dad.

My mind reels at the thought. Although California is a community property state, so presumably she wouldn't be left without an income...
