Just got off the phone with my manager. Today's performance review was basically a preliminary review to make sure he understands what I'm doing and where I'm excelling/lacking. He also shared with me the comments from a few of my project managers. Basically, for them, I walk on water. I was blushing for half of our discussion.
Bottom line from this call is that I need to fill out more "exceed expectation" examples on my self eval and get that back to him tomorrow. Dang it, I'm blushing again, just writing about the call.

I was busy all morning but now I am getting nothing done. I feel like I needed a day to do not much of anything, but I have too much to do to keep not doing anything.

Kat & Amy, I have been dodging some of their calls, but it makes my dad feel even more isolated, and I don't want to do that to him.
As for Mom, I have hung up on her often enough that she now gets all snippy about it, but it doesn't change her behavior. Amazing: she can't remember moving into the new apartment, but by god she remembers that I've hung up on her. Priorities, I swear.
Consuela has anyone really laid into your Mom?
If she does not remember moving into the new place, what is her current complaint?

I watched way too much of that video. I don't want to know their issues, and watching it mostly I was thinking about all the insulting comments (mostly to her, but they'll both get more bad than good) that was going to generate.
However, musician, stuff, you put it out there.
