Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I did lots and lots of laundry but as usual, the putting away part defeated me, so now I am in the hammock watching one dove bullying all the other birds that want to use my feeders

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Guys, I'm staying in a hotel and I have an app that controls the TV from my ipad! I'm never going home again.

Eta: I forgot the part where I used it to find Jeremy Renner's Arms on HBO.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Really? The doves in my yard never go up to the feeders, they just eat on the ground.

One of the many things I have to do to make my backyard an oasis of relaxation (this is a big goal of mine, if I haven't mentioned it) is figure out some way to get some shade onto my hammock. I can only stay out there for short periods of time with it in full sun, and there is not a lot of shade anywhere in my yard. Well, nowhere that is presently accessible, anyway. It's possible that beating back the blackberry bushes will help with the shade issue.

Eta: Nice one, bon!

Because books.

Truly, we live in magical times.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I think this story wants to be on Good Things. A Shih Tsu saves a kitten [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Do you guys who do laundry outside of your immediate home (e.g. laundrette or laundry room) fold before you put them in your basket or whatever else you're moving them in? Do you find this affects how soon you put them up?

I ask, looking at a carrier full of folded clothes in my living room.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I folded because pulling them from a hot dryer into a hamper where they cooled down created ridic wrinkles. I also folded them into piles for each family member and they were responsible for putting their own piles away.

That being said, hanging clothes would sit on top of my dresser for WEEKS.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hi all! I am free from the hospital for tonight. Sister is probably going to be discharged tomorrow and will go to a friend's house, close enough for me to come often and help out. That's all good. Diagnosis awaits final biopsy results, which will take 2 weeks. Oy. According to my other sister (the doctor) neither diagnosis is good, so I guess there's that. Still processing. It all seems very hard.

That does sound hard, Burrell. Good thoughts for all of you.

Sorry to hear that, Burrell.
