I'm still at my parents' for another few days, and I told them I'd make dinner tonight, which means I've got to go out to the grocery store to buy a few things. I so don't want to go outside.
It's supposed to be cooler by Sunday, though, which is when I'm going to the vintage carnival with my sister.
I do have to say, for once in my life, I have done a good job wrapping a present: I wrapped the books and box in nice paper, then got a coordinating ribbon and tied it all together and THEN a coordinating gift bag to carry it all in!
Health~ma to your sister, Burrell.
Comfortingly established that it's not possible to get into our locked apartment doors with a credit card last night. Sucks for across-the-hall neighbor who had to spend a night elsewhere drunkenly cursing his (ex?) boyfriend, who took his keys and left town, but
I
feel more secure. I briefly considered trying to go all safecracker with the smallest Allen hex key on my multi-set, but didn't want to foot the bill for a ruined lock if I messed up.
Matt, next time call Sam.
Yay, Frank!
All kinds of ~ma for your sister, Burrell.
Right on, Frank!
Burrell, lots of good thoughts for your sister.
If I called Sam, I would expect him to kick the door down. And after I swooned, I would be perfectly happy to invite him in to oil my hinges.
