It's not a bad time to be getting out of there. They have to lay off another 50-75 people, due to the federal budget. It won't be any of my team, but that just means more work will be dumped on the people who are left.

My mom wants to know why I'm not staying through Monday this weekend. I was considering it before I found out she's taking over child care for my nieces starting Monday. My job can kiss my ass so hard right now. No one has gotten back to me on anything all week, and suddenly this afternoon there's all this shit that I have to deal with, and I don't want to! I am on vacation in four minutes! Except not really, of course, because I need to talk to my boss, and she is on the phone. Fuck everyone.
