I did sign up for a course on Coursera, called The Modern and the Postmodern. We'll see if I get through the initial reading, which is Rousseau, Kant, and Marx.
Challenging coursework! I had a hard enough time with those guys when I was 20. Actually, Marx is fairly straighforward and interesting. Rousseau is all rhetorical and hopped up on his own jazz. Kant is some dense reading, though.
Jesse, how about a trip here: [link]
Of course that's what I sent back to my coworker when she sent me the first one!
So your coworkers think know you're a cowgirl, too?
Two key people (one of them my immediate supervisor) are handing in their resignations tomorrow. I don't see this ending well for anyone.
Challenging coursework!
After that comes
Madame Bovary,
though, so I don't know what to think.
We need to start a kickstarter for Cowgirl Jesse!
So your coworkers think know you're a cowgirl, too?
Exactly! Why are they sending you cowgirl links??
I realize this says terrible things about me, but is the Maury Povich Show now (yes, still on TV) just paternity tests and lie detector tests?
After that comes Madame Bovary, though, so I don't know what to think.
When do they get to the 20th century? They must be covering a huge sweep of literature.
Oh crud, I ate breakfast about an hour ago and now I'm nauseous again. WTF is up, body?
