Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't figure out why Comcast won't let me program my DVR remotely -- I think I have all of the qualifications, and yet nothing!

Edit: And possibly I should be working instead?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Work has gone crazy. Summer is our busy time, but we have gone from 3-400 ton days to 1000 ton days. Yesterday we had several mess ups, drivers going to the wrong site, drivers getting lost and not calling in, but taking 3 hours to get to a job. mess. Today, already (8:20am) we have a wreck (which means 1 driver out for the rest of the day, drug testing...), some equipment issue from clean up last night which got water into something it shouldn't get in, and drivers moving like molasses making us late for delivery on at least 2 jobs. I feel for them because we are on day 2 of 100+ heat and with all this tonnage to move, it is a long long day for them. I've brought in Dunkin both mornings and they appreciate it. bout all I can do.

Because books.

Belated birthday happies, sara!

And happy birthday to the lovely Sox!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Stress + hormones = bad night. Feeling somewhat better this morning. While I am factually fat, I'm not particularly old nor ugly, and I am loved, though not perhaps by my spoiled cats right at this moment. They know I'm going away.

Right, then, on to the next item on the anxiety agenda: packing! Packing LIGHT. Oh agony of mind, which shoes shall I take?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Birthday Happies, Sox!

Oh agony of mind, which shoes shall I take?

The comfortable ones that go with everything!

It's been a bad week for personal demons. I'm sorry they got to you yesterday, Zen.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Also, I'm a camel.

Now that you have self-identified as a camel, I am afraid that you will have to come here and live with me as I must have All the Camels.

I've heard of the terrible videogame "Desert Bus" before, but I didn't know it is used to raise money for charity. Interesting article: Desert Bus: The Worst Video Game Ever Created : The New Yorker

I also found a link to this terrible game:

BBG Presents Low-Altitude Attack Zeppelin – Boing Boing Gadgets

Welcome to Low-Altitude Attack Zeppelin, the first in our series of exciting futile games. Click the game and press space to start. Use the arrow keys to move, and press space to fire the machine gun–of your Low-Altitude Attack Zeppelin!

"Futile" is the key word here. Nonetheless, I was amused.
