And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Treadmill desks for everyone!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Teppy, is that where yours came from?

No, actually (and this might have an extra element of interest to you, tommyrot), my klein bottle was 3D printed by Shapeways, as was my mobius bacon.

A Klein bottle would make an exquisite wine decanter.

Acme Klein bottles does make one, but it's apparently really hard to get liquids out of them, because it can get vapor locked.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I should probably go pee. I've been known to put this off until I go home, but it's clear no actual work will get done until I'm bladder-voided.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Treadmill desks for everyone!

Honestly, if I could get HR to pay for it, I'd get one. As it is I have a standing desk. (Electric! Buttons to raise and lower it! Why is there no flamethrower button?)

I think most people drink when they're thirsty

I keep a selection of bitters at my desk, because work has free fizzy water. I no longer keep the coffin flask of bittersweet chocolate vodka at my desk, because the situation at work right now would drive me to constantly refilling it, and that's probably a bad idea.

ION, you know what would make me happy? If the grilled cheese food truck turned up every day.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

my klein bottle was 3D printed by Shapeways,

Oh yeah, I remember that now.

brillig

I'm impressed that the Acme Klein bottle company has the due diligence to make sure their bottles won't dissolve in Jello. That's proper American ingenuity there.

I think most people drink when they're thirsty

I think if most people drank water instead when they're thirsty, or something with some good there there, that'd be an improvement. And if 8 glasses of water a day cuts down on the apple juice drink or the coca cola, then I think it's a net improvement.

Are there many over-hydrated people having problems outside of disturbing me at movies (I admit, I've never understood normal requirements to pee during a movie--I've assumed it's not standard bladder procedure and if you're going to MUST pee in 90-180 minutes you can maybe squeeze a few drops out now and postpone the mustness)?

I would still like a glass one, but I also recognize that we don't have a lot of room in our house, and a glass one would have to be put out of reach (and therefore not in a place to be appreciated). So a nylon 3D printed one can safely be put anywhere and it'll survive if it gets knocked off by a cat or my clumsy butt.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If the grilled cheese food truck turned up every day.

I just saw the one here is coming back to my office in a couple of weeks! ...when I'll be on vacation. Ah well, I will be on vacation!!!!!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I don't understand 3-D printing- are the things made of paper? or ink? How is it printing?
