Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's a good idea, but I don't think my mother could deal with it! I wish I could get them all out of that house, honestly.

hip deep in pie

I suspect that my mother will have the opposite problem. She'll just slowly barricade herself in the house.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It's a good idea, but I don't think my mother could deal with it!

...maybe you should just drink a lot?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

someone who had seen him on TV called 911

Oh, wow! I'm so glad the full alert worked! I'm never sure how these things turn out--I hope to never know again, because nothing like this need ever happen to anyone I know ever again, but still. Good job TV watcher! Good job TV alert! General good jobbing all around.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Jesse, maybe something with GPS on it? It's probably impossible to get him to take an iPhone everywhere, but the technology certainly exists.

Our wings are not tired.

BTW, she did talk to EMS and found out exactly how and where they found him -- someone who had seen him on TV called 911.

Cool! Where did they locate him?

By the way, my tweets about your dad got 200+ plus retweets. It helped that I have a few key people with thousands of followers who were happy to retweet. The ways to get information out these days are kind of astounding and awesome.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So I saw the trailer for "Sharknado."

I think I'm gonna have to watch that movie.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Jesse, maybe something with GPS on it? It's probably impossible to get him to take an iPhone everywhere, but the technology certainly exists.

This occurred to me the other day. If he's already wearing a med-alert bracelet, surely there's a way to attach a tracker of some sort.

That sounds about right.

And my mother had looked into GPS things, but thought they were too expensive. (And he can't carry anything, it would have to be the watch thing.) Anyway, I really think now not being alone is the key thing.

Where did they locate him?

Copley Square, basically. (Which, people keep saying how far that is, but I walked to my parents' when I lived near there! Not all the time, but it's not like a regular person wouldn't choose to do it.)
