I would think the opposite.

I usually cook up a vat of something on the weekends, soup or curry or stir fry, something that's easy to reheat. I eat a snack before I leave work, usually almonds or sunflower seeds, just to keep myself from cutting someone. By the time I get home after running errands and exercising, it depends on how I'm feeling. If I'm starving, I eat leftovers. If I'm not, I'll make a salad or roast some vegetables or braise some greens. I keep certain ingredients handy like eggs and cooked lentils and cheese and marinara so that I can quickly build a salad or an omelette or a small pizza.
I am not hungry when I leave work, but I try to eat my big meal at lunch and I drink tea or water all afternoon. I keep a handful of frozen dinners and I almost never cook a single meal at a time. Multiple meals cooked on the weekend or on a night I am feeling productive.
Last year, I tried to prep once a month and then cook at home most days. Now we make a big load of meat, usually grilled chicken, once a week and we eat that in various guises all week. Usually salads.
I've been also trying to eat eggs more, especially shirred or poached, particularly with avocado.
How do normal people cook/eat dinner?
Trader Joes
I'm experimenting with poached eggs on salads! Mine... don't look good yet, but they taste fine.
Lee for the win.
Poached eggs on salads are delicious. I love salad on top of toast with a poached egg on top of that. I like toast for the sopping.
Why do you have to be low glycemic?
Pain control recommendations.
And what's your metaphor question again? You're looking for a continuum that's not a line?
Yeah, basically. Not trying to say that it's either A or B or somewhere inbetween. I might suggest tableaux. That's the best I can think of right now.
I would think the opposite
Such is the problem with most of the information coming from people who're pitching weight loss. When you start googling pain control diets, shit gets totes random.
I do wish eggs were an option. Damn.
Wholefoods had brilliantly packaged chicken--if Costco had done this while I was a member, I might not have drifted away--they sell packages of six thighs or breasts that are three sets of two, so you can split along the dotted line without breaking the seal, thereby saving the singletons from having to repackage upon getting home.
I need to get back into the crock pot swing of things--that was a good couple months--no ordering in, few excuses...
Gotta say, trying to pay attention to whole grains, etc, made it the cheapest 3 bags of Wholefoods groceries I think I've ever bought.
SHIT. I was so glad when I saw the 4pm meeting was cancelled. It wasn't until 3 that I saw it was re-sent for 4:30. Because, erm, I'm presenting. And the slide deck was still unwritten.
Written now, though.
Seems like a weird place to film something like that... oh, unless they're going for the dank, apocalyptic underworld toilet that is Lower Wacker.
I'm betting on a night shoot under the Lake St tracks, although Lower Wacker seems likely too.
