Back to the getting the 'scope solution down, Theo, may I recommend a straw? I'd had two tries at the glucose tolerance test, fasting, *with* morning sickness, and the taste of the solution had it coming back before it all got down, and cancelled and rescheduled appointments. The third time I used a straw to get the solution to the back of my mouth and swallowed, bypassing most of the taste buds, and that time it worked, all got down, and stayed down. Though it was iffy at moments.

That vid of Sean Bean's onscreen deaths needs updated by now--there've been more since it was put together.
It is cooler today. Thank jeebus.
Just back from the dentist, for my regular cleaning. That part was unpleasant (though Grace offered to go with me and hold my hand, since I do that for her and she knows I hate the dentist and she wanted to help), but when she pulled my crown out? That was bad. And the fact that I need a new crown? Also bad.
THIS is why I avoid the dentist.
Beverly,
you are brilliant. I love the straw idea.
So we'll have to figure something out there.
Liese, try Hybrid Athlete for training plans that don't require a gym. Here's a free 6-week plan. [link]
All of the rest of their plans are pay what you want. [link]

Full disclosure: I know Joe, one of the founders, and other individuals involved in HA.
We're thinking about investing in equipment. Since either of the (not great option) gyms are still a good half hour away, I don't know if we'd actually get in there.
Even if you do, these still work well when you're on the road. Hotel fitness facilities are notorious crap shoots.
I'm supposed to get a call from a nurse there to 'discuss options' so we'll see. I'd almost volunteer for a gastric feeding tube at this point, better a few gaggy moments that minutes and minutes of trying to get foulness down.
Theo,
I understand. I would appreciate you reporting back. I have colon cancer that potentially runs in my family (my grandmother had a bad run of it), and I should have another but I've been avoiding the medical drinking abuse.
This made me laugh a lot.
