Excellent good news!
Hello, Shir! Jesse, yes, sick day! You need it.
Hi, Zen!
(I've mostly lurked ~40% Natter and ~80% of Bitches the past week and didn't post until this very morning, but I think it's an improvement from barely lurking here at all. I also have too way much going on right now, to the point where I don't even know where and how to start posting about my life here again. So meanwhile, I lurk, cheering y'all from a safe distance).
I slept really well last week, and will go in to work at the normal time, because it is way easier for me to follow my regular routine than not. And my office is air conditioned. It was FREEZING in the ER last night, but I actually didn't mind, because I had been so hot and sticky. Nevermind my father, of course.
Which reminds me, with 90s predicted for the next couple of days, it's time to get the ACs installed.
(I got some "new" ones last year, from my aunt's beach house -- before Sandy, because they were anticipating renovating and putting in central air...)
Jesse, I'm so glad to hear that he is home, and you have had some sleep. Also, grateful for everyone who looked for and helped you find him!
I got up at 5:15 just so I could clean cat barf out of the woven rug and get into work at my usual time, yes, yes, that was the whole plan.
Damnit, Loki. He totally bolted his food and predictably, it bounced.
What Sparky1 said!
Sticking to your routine makes sense.
I am so glad that work is air conditioned!
